The Endless Quest for Power

Well kids, I'm not sure whether I'm happy or sad about this, but this is my last weekend here at Immaculata University. I must say that I will miss Lindsay and Andrew probably the most because they are like my best friends here. Not to mention that I have the most memories with them, including the hospital trip (damn you, Giant Food Stores...fuck you, aisle 14!!!! ..Curse those dancing flowers...) and they are the reason that I am sad. I am going to miss my teachers because they were incredibly awesome... I'll probably miss Sister Marcille and Sister Marie Hubert the most. *le sigh*

But, I look at it this way: I'll be home next week, in my own bed! I'll probably get to see James and Ursula and Hilary and Sam and Erin and all those cool people again. I won't see Megan for god knows how long and I miss her. This sucks, man. Totally sucks. But I'll get to see some of my friends this summer before I move out to Boise with Steven, which I'm -totally- excited about.

He gets to spend the summer here and yey I'm thrilled about that. It's gonna be fun, even though we're both working the entire three months. But like, I get to go to Boise for a week in June, which is cool right there (I really like it in Boise. It's pretty) and then we come back to Maine for the summer! I like Maine in the summer, even though I constantly bitch about it. lol. It's going to be really fun and I can't wait!!!!

Hello Children--

You may have noticed my extended absence from the Internet world. There is a very valid reason for this. You see, back in the days of Yore, or shall I say, "February," there came a very dark time. A very dark time indeed. I remember it well. I was playing Maple Story with Steven and then my laptop went into hibernation. I remember exclaiming, "WHAT THE HELL?!" as I attempted to plug the computer back in. This lasted for oh, about two weeks. It worked, then died, and the cycle continued. Until it died altogether last month. I cried, oh how I cried. I missed my computer; it had been my best friend, and now it was gone... all because of a faulty adapter that somehow managed to destroy my friend. (CURSE YOUUUUUU!!!) A new age came where I lived away in college, with no computer to entertain my little mind. No longer could I play the games I thoroughly enjoyed, such as Maple Story, or Ragnarok, or my beloved Sims 2. However, there was light at this dark time. Easter break came, and I myself returned to my old best friend-- my ancient but not forgotten computer.

At last, I had a computer! When all was well in my dorm room, I attempted to install Microsoft Office, but OH NO! The CD drive decided that it did not want to run CDs.

I cried, oh how I cried.

On the other hand, you might notice how I am currently online and updating my journal. Congratulations! You seem to have cared! =P However, that's no excuse for not calling me to see where I was or if I was okay, you little bastards!!!!! >:-[ Haha. Just kidding, kids.

Anyway, I will remain on extended leave until I manage to attain a brand new desktop computer which will make me incredibly happy. Also, I have three weeks left of my freshman year of college and it's crunch time god damn it. I'll be busy as hell so don't ask me where I am. I'm always IN THE LIBRARY or doing something of value on my computer.

Well I must say that that is actually quite interesting...

Okay. So I went home last week and damn it was that a wonderful time. I installed WoW on like.. 3 computers in my house which was magnificent. And then I paid to play it with Steven and my brother which was even more magnificent. I also worked for a total of like.. 24 hours.. which means more money... even better. However, there's a down side to every story. That downside: My computer.

My dad called HP and bitched at them for a good few hours... and at the end of that, he buys a new charger and docking station... which is a shame because I'll never use that docking station. =( So we all know that my computer died and the charger doesn't work and all that fun stuff. I bring it to Best Buy to get it looked at by the Geek Squad guys... they don't know what's going on with it, which sucks... but at least that was a free consultation thingie. Twas very cool. And then my dad gets another charger, thinking it's -still- the charger when I tell him that it isn't... and lo and behold, this one doesn't work either. So I'm stuck with 3 chargers and none of them work. Finally, my dad brings my computer to the computer guy downtown and he checks it out. Few days go by and then the guy calls back and leaves a message, "Uhh.. I need to talk to you about your laptop." $450+. Unbelievable. He said that if we send it in to HP, it'd be about $450... but if something went wrong with the motherboard, then it would be over $600. I nearly fell over or something. The guy said we could get $300 for my computer and use that towards another laptop in the store, but my dad said forget it because I was going to get a new comptuer when I move to Boise anyway.. we took my crappy and now useless laptop and went on our merry way. We got it to charge to 100% and then I shut it off and used my dad's computer. I don't even know why I brought it back to school with me. It's just sitting in my room collecting dust. Ah well.

So I'm going back to Boise in June and spending a week there for orientation and such and then Steven and I are taking the same flight back home, so we'll be travelling together and not alone and by ourselves :) I'm actually really excited and I can't wait.

Ah well... I'm bored and I just felt like updating, but no one reads this anyway :( lol I'm out kids =P

My computer died. The battery like... died on me and then it stopped charging. So I've been computer-less since Sunday. Boo.

My dad bought a new charger and he's bringing it down with him tomorrow to see if it charges. Hopefully it does.

I've been all edgy (sp? It looks wrong...) lately. My roommate's boyfriend calls at like 6 in the morning and it's driving me crazy.

i applied to BSU about 3 weeks ago or so. I think they're waiting on my transcript from OOBHS. Eh. My grades here are -awesome- but that's not the case with OOBHS. My grades sux0r'd there. But Steven was all, "They'd probably look more at your college grades and see if you can do okay in college" so I'm putting my faith (oh God) in what he says and I;ve been praying (holy shit) that I get in.

Okay so here I am, back at school...*le cry*...

I spent my break in Idaho with the most amazing boy ever ^.^ I spent Christmas and such with Steven... I stayed in his house with his family and it was soooo nice. His family is cool and I heart them haha. We spent most of my time there either in his room playing video games or ... like.. at the mall or the SUB. I played some DDR with him; huzzah! He brought me and his family all out to dinner on New Years Eve, which was nice of him. I made dinner for him on Christmas Eve and we watched a movie because his family was at a Christmas thingie and Steven didn't wanna go, lol. And then I made dinner for his family the night I left.

While I was there, he rented and beat Fatal Frame II... I had to cling to him because it scared the living hell out of me. Then he bought Fatal Frame III and beat that. Scared me even more. Rawr. I wanted to get him the first Fatal Frame sometime but god damn is it expensive. You kinda can't find it anymore, so yeah. That's probably why.

But eh... I didn't want to leave. I cried so much at the airport. I didn't want to leave him. =( But he's coming to my house in about 4 or 5 months, so I guess it's not all that bad... he's spending the summer with me and if I get accepted to BSU, I'm going back to Boise with him and I'll be going to school there. It'll be much closer than now and I'll get to see him whenever I want rather than twice a year!

But yeah. I moved back into my dorm yesterday. Rawr. Got a new roommate too. ....That's the end of that. The end?

I'm only writing in here because I'm playing Maple Story and I ran out of MP. But it's all back now, so this means that I'll be leaving.
